The Unwanted Child

I knew him once, the unwanted child.

At times he went a little wild;

his life, it often went awry

with thoughts so often in the sky.

Missteps he made what e’er he tried;

sometimes he stole sometimes he lied.

But deep inside he knew the way

to speak the words he could not say.

‘Twas not until he set to write

that he could say what he knew was right.

After that his words came true

and he did learn to speak anew.

he did learn to speak anew.

About a foolhardy florilegium

Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes.
