Faces on the street

Looking in the eyes of the faces on the street

I see the depth of loneliness in hearts who cannot meet.

We cannot greet a stranger, so stranger they will stay;

We cannot greet a stranger – that’s not societies way.

We need to learn a stranger is  a friend who’s still unmet

And somewhere on the street today is your best friend yet.
