Freedom

I’ve found that freedom’s like a tree,

it offers shelter to you and me.

Its branches spread over this land

from deepest forest to beaches sand.

It’s there to offer us sanctuary

because that is the right of you and me.

It offers peace and freedom too

cos’ that’s the right of me and you.

About a foolhardy florilegium

Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes.
