I was at a rally yesterday and misread a “No Homophobia” badge as “No Humorphobia” this set me to thinking that maybe that is a campaign this world needs too:

Humorphobia some folk would say
is the greatest crime there is today.
Failure to see life’s big joke
means emotion will just choke,
all life will splutter to a halt
and hearts will stop – a sudden jolt.
So lighten up folk – one and all
and feel the joy of laughter’s call.
scream with joy and act the fool
(don’t wet yourself, that’s not so cool.)
But don’t let Humorphobia eat you up
instead just drink from laughter’s cup.
Remember as you laugh each day
that laughter too, is Gaia’s way.
