Another view of Easter

It’s in the night when all are sleeping,
a little rabbit comes a creeping
and eggs he lays as rabbits do.
He leaves them here for me and you
to guzzle on till we be sated;
to kids this tale’s not over-rated.
We need more male rabbits that can lay
us eggs to eat on Easter Day.
‘Cos joy and laughter it does bring;
eating bunny eggs is a funny thing!

About a foolhardy florilegium

Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes.
