On War

Still we fight like cats and dogs till ‘victory’ we secure

before walking over corpses all sanctimonious and pure.

Hold out a hand in friendship and that they’ll quickly spurn

but give an excuse for war and it’s “burn baby burn”.

Somehow we need to find the path to the peace that we deserve;

find a way to change this path – tghis self-destructive curve.

There is no future on this path our society did choose,

but rather life’s a battle that we are bound to lose.
