Welcome My Friends

Welcome my friends

to the show that never ends

Psychiatry’s revolving door

we give them pills but not much more.

The pills we determine

are best served with a sermon.

We tell them of their wicked way

and how to keep their thoughts at bay,

we tell them how to live their life

and stay away from drugs and strife

then we send them on their way

and tell them they’ll be back one day;

one day soon we know ’twill be

‘cos they are ours – never to be free.

About a foolhardy florilegium

Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes.
