The fate that’s my life’s journey; the strange paths I have trod
Have led me to one simple truth; there’s no such thing as ‘God.”
But rather there’s the feeling that wells up from my heart
To tell me what is right or wrong; that’s where it has its start.
And then there’s simple judgement; knowing right from wrong
The knowing where my feet are and where my steps belong.
So when I go the wrong way, there’s none to blame but me;
This snotty little man I am is nothing if not free.
