This Land

Ya gotta love this land of ours; from desert to the sea.

Every time I look at it, it’s where I want to be.

It doesn’t matter how I feel or what’s gone wrong today

I gaze out on its wonder and my troubles float away.

I see the beauty of that vista and my old heart sings;

it’s like that simple wonder somehow gives my spirit wings.

So every time I’m feeling down and feeling kinda blue

I step out there in nature and I hope that you do too!

About a foolhardy florilegium

Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes.
