I’d love a world that lives in peace;
these constant battles never cease.
War fills our world most every day;
can’t we just find another way?
Time and again we find a cause
to carry on our “Righteous Wars.”
We battle mostly for “world peace”
and death-tolls always do increase.
“Belief” is strong, it drives most hate.
A free-thinking world, I just can’t wait.
For “Gods” we kill, yet gods are love;
is war retribution from above?
Have we so erred along the way
that we’ll never know a peaceful day?
Will war decide our final fate?
Is bloodlust a thing we just can’t sate?
I wish we knew these things and more,
then we could put an end to war!
