Childhood’s Cup

Adulthood smiles at those childish dreams
as we grow and learn what life really means.
Before the complication of life sets in
the child knows nothing of Saint or sin.
These are the days of true childhood bliss;
the days that we often forget to miss.
But it’s memories of life with pure fun
that can keep us sane in the daily run
that is the life we lead ‘grown up’,
when we forget to drink from Childhoods Cup.

About a foolhardy florilegium

Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes.
