Life

I live in a world where I seen no future;

at least no future for the way we exist today.

Quietly I dream of a life

in some far off, imagined world way.

But I am old, my blood runs cold,

my lifetimes end is close, I see it in plain sight.

What matters is the younger ones;

those with a future we must guard against the night.

    Yes, with the way the US is going I am very concerned for my son. If it comes to that my daughter’s family will sl just move To Europe. But my son?.

      Will Europe be any safer? The EU seems determined on war and as I see it an American government will follow whatever party controls at the time. What makes you think your daughter will be any safer than your son; remember we have gender equality now so they are at equal risk. I’ve got a daughter in fighting age and grandkids and I know they are at all at risk.
      America is on a collision path with the Middle East and it’s getting close to the point of no return there as well.
      Both of these wars are effectively wars for oil and other resources and if we run out of any of them (and we’re close) then our societies collapses.
      Great change is coming one way or another; it’s no use opposing this war or that war, we need to simply oppose war.
      Good luck and live well.
