Ode To Flowers

‘Twould be a wonder if I knew
exactly how each flower grew;
how beauty unfolds from a seed
is wisdom that we all do need.
To be a flower; simply grow
and then to let sweet nectar flow,
To have Old Sol as your best friend
and wonder to sweet Gaia lend,
appeal both to birds and to bees
(and sometimes make humans sneeze).
With perfumed grace you make life bright
from breaking dawn till darkened night
’tis you, my loves I always see.
Your tiny faces will for ever be
the joy that sets all hearts free.

About a foolhardy florilegium

Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes.
