Gaia’s Worth

To the world within and world without,
I often wonder what it’s all about.
When I sit and look upon a tree
I wonder how this beauty can be;
how can this come from a simple seed?
But then I remember “It’s Gaia’s deed.”
The Spirit of this living being
makes all the wonder I am seeing.
And so, each day, I touch the Earth
and remember all of Gaia’s worth.

About a foolhardy florilegium

Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes.
