An Armistice Day Prayer

I bow my head to brave men who died

I bow my head to families who cried

I scorn the fools who sent them there,

the cross of an unjust war to bear.

The fools who stood behind the lie

“For King and country you must die.”

I despise the system’s economic war

I stand with the dead to vow NO MORE!

About a foolhardy florilegium

Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes.
