Walking with trees

How can we walk out with these trees

and not worship them bended knees.

Even just the remnants we have left

leave me, at times, of words benefit.

The grandeur and the might I see

remind me that life still’s free

and simply walking in their shade

is always to my Spirits aid.

About a foolhardy florilegium

Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes.
