Easter time has come again,
when all god’s children go insane;
an overdosing sugar fix
with chocolate added in the mix.
But remember that that egg and bunny
come from Pagan places I find funny.
A Fertility Festival it truly be
letting fertility run wild and free.
Fertility symbols for our child
(hope the children don’t go too wild).
Pagan rituals dressed up like god;
in a christian society that seems odd.
Aphrodisiac chocolate, egg and bunny sweet;
more signs of fertility you’d never meet.
I pray the children don’t go out and ‘play’
not on this, such a holy day.
