Democracy; this planet’s need

corrupted now by corporate greed.

America, the corporate empire,

consumed now by its own greed’s fire.

From the ashes, what will arise;

Democracy, more corporate lies?

I guess we’ll have to wait and see

what the future for the Yanks will be.

At the moment it’s the dollar rules

in that land of business fools.

Perhaps, one day, they’ll find some pride

then where will corporations hide?

I hope I’m round to see the day

democracy does have its day.
