Coral Reef

Away down there beneath the waves

where octopi hide in hidden caves.

It’s there I’d love to spend some days

learning about their aquatic ways.

Where brightly coloured fish swim free

amongst the waving seaweed tree.

And creatures that defy my mind

in every crevice I would find.

Where krill too tiny for my eye

feed giant whales who seem to fly;

majestic beauty, in graceful flight

glides through the sea both day and night

Below it all, a wonder land

where coral grows on drifting sand.

This is the place where dreams can dwell;

in the land below the ocean’s swell.
