Battles are Fought

The battles are fought, the victories won;

we walk today under a bright new sun.

The rays that fill our hearts today

light the path to a brand new way.

So let them blather and think they rule

following blindly the long-dead fool

who thought that he could dominate

When all he offered were fear and hate.

Back in that place we know as Hell,

he’s where the mighty turn to Fell.

Back where they wallow in their pain;

driven mad by their plans insane.

Here and now there can be peace

if we but know that wars can cease.

We’ve followed the ‘Horned one’ so long

we’ve forgotten where our hearts belong.

Live in freedom those of kindred Soul;

accept at last we can be whole.
