Futures now shorter than our past
the dye, I fear, is firmly cast.
The meltdown now that it’s begun
its flames will dim the rising sun.
The choices made, the lots we draw
now lead us into but outright war,
we reap the whirlwind of their lies.
Those lies we took to heart and soul;
those choices made us less than whole.
Our choices made in greed and lust
led us to this place of our own disgust.
Rest assured, Gaia we can never kill;
she will rebuild, I know she will.
And so my friends, our time must pass;
my passing words “Go kiss my arse”.
Hello cruel world, I’m here to join this circus.
