On Pain & Gain

There is no Journey without pain;

there is no loss without some gain.

We wander on and blindly seek

that future of which Gurus speak.

There is no oath, there is no trail;

so many Seekers search and fail.

But somewhere there are hearts unbound,

patiently waiting to be found.

They’ve lingered long in human days;

we’ve wandered lost from Gaia’s ways.

Perhaps one day we’ll find the path

that leads again to her warm hearth.
