The One Tree

The One Tree withers, so soon to die;

no longer its boughs to reach the sky.

No more the link –  Heaven to Gaia;

lost to humanities greed and fire.

‘Tis humans alone caused our demise

with our loss of Spirit, our world of lies.

For killing The Tree there’s no forgiving;

humans just don’t deserve to keep living.

The crimes committed in Mamons name

have brought upon us eternal shame.

Lest we all repent without delay

and find an old and wholesome way

we’ll truly perish alongside Gaia

consumed by our filth; our funeral pyre.
