Kuntachan

His laughter brought us joy untold, his voice was crystal clear,
a simple word spoke from his lips would drive away all fear.
He stood, a simple, gentle man, wisdom burning in his eyes;
his eyes were dark and caring eyes that spoke of clear blue skies.
He guided us through fields of green down to a trickling stream
and led our meditation through what seemed to us a dream.
He showed us how to see the world through open eyes at last.
He showed us all the folly of life lived in future or in past.
Then, later as we drove away and many times again
I marvelled at the way his words made our world seem insane.

About a foolhardy florilegium
