Lost & Found

There are  some days I find it, on other days it’s lost.
I don’t know where to find it or what replacements cost.
I only know it isn’t here now but I saw it there today;
I turned around and it was gone as though spirited away.
But it always comes back; it’s not completely disappeared.
though when I couldn’t find it that’s always what I feared.
But the Sun rises in the morning and there it is again;
the source of all my joy in life – along with all my pain.
