My Granpa

Granpa makes me laugh sometimes,
he knows lots of tricks and rhymes.
His silly faces are so much fun.
He loves to see me play and run.
I love it when he comes to play
and wish that he could always stay.
Then I could learn such wondrous things
Like why an Emu still has wings
or how the clouds up in the air
Don’t fall down, but stay up there.
‘Cos these are things that Granpas know
and there’s neat tricks he’ll always show,
so I just laugh out Oh so loud,
of Granpa I’m so very proud!
