On Kings and such

When the King rides past on his big white horse

then we should all stoop and bow of course.

For it is he alone who rules and guides the way

and he, of course, in battle, will win the day.

Why do we bow to power and fall upon our knee?

Why do these petty little men get this power free?

Are we not the real power; it’s us who pull the load?

Without us wouldn’t ‘power’ be broken on the road?

So if we don’t support them; these petty power men;

where is their ‘power’ what happens to them then?

At end of day, they’re nothing, these petty power folk;

And “kingship” is really just another word for ”joke”.
