The Seekers

So many look but never see;
the seekers of a life that’s true.
We don’t know what we want to be;
we only know there’s something new.
The Seekers searching for a life
when they can find depth and meaning
away from this world that is rife
with blasphemies demeaning.
The narrowness that is the mind
of all we have become today
means that we can never find
that childish place where we can play.
We’ve seen some subtle glimpses
of that freedom of the Soul.
We’ve seen off in the distance
and know we’ll reach our goal.
