Futility

The futility of killing kids learning how to live;

The futility of doctrines that have no love to give.

The stupidity of dying to try to prove belief;

The stupidity of thinking this will give your cause relief.

The death and waste of eons where prejudice abounds.

The death and waste of killing on weird religious grounds.

Why can’t we find belief that says we all live and let live?

Why can’t we find belief with nothing but good to give?

About a foolhardy florilegium

Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes.
